The Short Version

Your data stays on your Mac. We don't collect it, store it, or sell it. Period.

What Data Kiyomi Stores

All data is stored locally in ~/.kiyomi/ on your computer:

Configuration — Your AI provider settings and Telegram bot token
Memory — Things Kiyomi learns about you from conversations
Conversation logs — Recent chat history for context
Reminders & schedules — Your reminder and cron settings

What We Collect

We use Google Analytics on kiyomibot.ai (this website) to understand traffic. This collects anonymous usage data like page views and referral sources. No personal information is collected.

We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects payment information per their own privacy policy. We receive only your email and subscription status — never your card details.

What We Don't Collect

Your conversations with Kiyomi
Your memory or personal data
Your AI API keys
Your Telegram messages
Any telemetry from the Kiyomi app

Third-Party AI Services

When you use Kiyomi, your messages are sent to the AI provider you choose (Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI). These services have their own privacy policies. Kiyomi sends only the current conversation — your local memory is summarized into a system prompt, not sent raw.

Data Deletion

To delete all your data, remove the ~/.kiyomi/ folder from your Mac. To cancel your subscription, use the Stripe billing portal link in your purchase confirmation email.
